Hi,
after reading the wiki I dont understand why this happend....
I attacked with 4 Armies a country with 2.
The AI lost one and I lost one, but the attacking countery was not concered.
Why ist this? I would have three more armies to attack with or?
Thanks for the help in advance.

when you attack with 4 armies, each attacking armies has 60% chance of killing 1 defending army. And each defending army has 70% chance of killing 1 attacking army (assuming standard settings). In order to conquer a territory, you need to kill all the defending armies. in your case, when attacking with 4 armies, you have 80% chance of killing 2 armies and therefore conquering the territory. (check the "analyze attack" tool to know your chances of conquering the territory and the average armies killed)

This game differs from Risk in that you only get the one chance per turn to take a territory, rather than risk where you continue attacking until one force is completely gone. (it's an instant retreat after a failure) You can try attacking with your remaining 3 armies the next turn.
