In the phrase "the product of 1.55 raised to a power x and 3," the base 1.55 is raised to the power of x. The word product refers to multiplication with 3. So, this statement describes the expression 3(1.55)x.
In the phrase "the difference of 1 and 0.75 raised to the power of x, times the coefficient 1.55," the term difference indicates subtraction. The phrase "difference of 1 and 0.75" indicates 1 − 0.75. The phrase "raised to the power of x" indicates that the exponent is x. The coefficient, 1.55, represents the term multiplied by the base of the exponent, which is (1 − 0.75). So, this statement describes the expression 1.55(1 − 0.75)x.
In the phrase "the initial value of 1.55 multiplied by the base of 1 more than 0.75 raised to x," the phrase "1 more than 0.75" indicates 1 + 0.75. This is also the base of the exponential expression that is raised to a power of x. The initial value, 1.55, will be multiplied by the base. So, this statement describes the expression 1.55(1 + 0.75)x.
In the phrase "the base, 1.55, raised to the power of the product of 3 and x." the phrase "product of 3 and x" indicates 3x. The base of the expressions is 1.55. So, this statement describes the expression (1.55)3x.

What is so funny? Math? Pfft, learn to be a nerd like me instead of hating on the most important topic "taught" in school.

BARCODE CHECK MATH METHOD:
Here is a barcode: 0 26000 00304 9
1. Starting with the first 0, add up every other number (0+6+0+0+3+4=13). 2. Multiply by 3 (13•3=39) 3. Starting with the second number, add up every other number, but do not include the last number (2+0+0+0+0=2). 4. Add the 2 together (39+2=41). 5. Divide by 10 (41/10=4 R1) 6. Subtract the remainder from 10 (10-1=9). This gives you the last number in the barcode.
This method will work for all barcodes which have numbers in groups of 1,5,5,1.

1. Take your age. 2. Subtract 2. 3. Add 2. 4. That’s your age.
Mind blowing, I know. :)
