Is there any possibility to switch off timer during No-Luck Cycle picking? I find it higly annoying.

Yes, but if you did then your overall start time would be longer, making you less likely to get order priority.

I dunno if I missed something, but from what I understand the timer will start anyway, just sooner.

Well, this is real bummer.
I am autist. Due to the way my brain is wired, I am unable to detach my focus from that erratically running clock. It distracts me, make me nervous and I am unable to focus on picking properly. Obviously I messed up picks in that game completely.
There are lots of autists on this site. It would be polite from Fizzer to add disable-clock option.

I mean, unless you are really going hard for 1st pick (Duel, fastest picker win), then picking fast just results in worse picks. If it distracts you, I recommend just turning it off. Maybe, you loose 0.5 - 1 seconds on it*, which has no effect on most games. Like, the one exceptions to this, is the fastest picker wins games, and you are not loosing out by avoiding those games.

*Technically, you don't loose any time. But of course, it's nice to start the timer yourself, so you are always ready.

So the timer start sooner but I don't see it? This was my intention. I don't mind losing 1 second of time, I don't pick fast anyway, even on NLC.

My suggestion is, turn that dialog to off. (This will get rid of the animation dragging your eyes to the top right). If just that is enough, great.

If you are playing in UJS (browser), you can also get rid of the clock itself by using Inspect element or some sort of add blocker (remember to white-list warzone thru, the game is funded by ads!) and block that clock element.

The timer starts at the same point in both cases, which is the first time you see the (un-fogged) game. In practice, this means that your reaction is perhaps ~1 second slower, if you are not using the begin dialog.

Lately, NLC games are not that popular, so avoiding them is entirely possible as well.

In most games, who moves first on turn 1 isn't a huge issue, so I wish there was just a way to identify a known move order without the clock junk at the beginning of the game.

And no, this isn't 'Cycle' b/c that move order isn't known, you have to figure it out yourself, and it's never displayed anywhere. This makes it very annoying when you're playing 20+ games, b/c even though you've already figured out the move order on turn 5, when you go back to game #20 on turn #35, you don't remember the turn order and have to go through History again to recall the order. Especially if you're playing the same maps or same players in multiple games.

So a turn order like Not-Timed-First-Pick-But-Still-Cyclic-And-Shows-Up-In-The-Move-Order-Dialog. And if we're still focussed on 'No Luck', then maybe use the time players joined the game instead of how quickly they picked their starting territories.

OR... just give players somewhere to write notes to themselves (ie: opponents can't see it), so I can write "My turn on even moves" or "My turn even 3rd move" or whatever, and not have to figure it out each time.
