Seven teams in total have dropped out: China 1 and 2, Poland 1 and 3, Switzerland, South America and New Zealand. That leaves Group A as the only group with all four teams playing. Every other group has lost a team except for Group B, which has lost two. Since that's the case, we'll change the qualification criteria for the elimination stage a bit:
A. All results against teams that have dropped out will be ignored.
B. The top two finishers in each group by points will qualify for the round of 16, so both teams left in Group B automatically qualify. The third-placed team in group A will also qualify. The best third-placed team on points from groups C, D, E, F and G will be the final qualifier.
