The method to to it is (wins/total)*100 then you get a win percent. So using a from of calculator: (90/612)*100 = 14.71% to 2 decimal places.
Your lose rate is 85.29% to 2 decimal places.

my win-rate is 39.8 to 2 decimal places. That... is also a terrible win-rate, which I am dearly trying to get it higher.

I believe that these metrics are not enough to determine whether a player is good or bad.
I played thousands of 1x1 duel games myself. I won 50% of them because they were lottery and random duels.
This does not mean that I lost 50% of my 1x1 games.
Also, a player evolves as he plays and observes the enemy's movements.
So it is a factor that does not fully serve to determine whether a player is good or bad.
But in the end I now play just for fun. Winning or losing became just a detail ... Having fun is my main goal.

Viking, if you want to get your win rate higher, then play against noobs.
In contrast, if you want to get actually better at the game, play against good players. Your win rate will decrease, but you're actually getting better at the game.
My point is, don't care too much about your win rate. 1v1 ladder or MDL are better skill indicators.
If A has a 75% win rate and B has 40%, who will you think is the best? And what if I told you A only played against players worse than him, and B only played against top players? Do you keep the same answer?
