Warzone Is good. we need to expand the userbase with a better ui interface in the app. In other words this game needs an overhaul, like a major major update.

I don't think that's the main issue here. It's just that the name warzone is often used outside of this game and it makes things in this game very hard to search. For instance searching up a particular forum thread, user or wiki entry requires you to scroll down a lot and you often don't even find what you are looking for.

Yes, I joined before Warzone. I don't know if my app hadn't updated yet, but I know I joined in WL times. It was a month or so later it changed to WZ.

Well warlight makes this game sound oldish, while WarZone is a way better name yet it's a COD game as well. So I think renaming it would be the best idea

Only if you know what the name refers to, which very few people do, and absolutely no one cares.

It was easy to see two years ago that some run of the mill crap game called "Warzone" would come out and cast a shadow on this game, I still say that the name change was ill advised.

I wasn't calling anyone here a whore, I was calling this whole zone a whorezone which is why WarZone should be named WhoreZone.

Also, if anything misleading call of duty players into Risk is a big boon for Fizzbuns. Imagine the boon a suggestive name like WhoreZone would be.

WarSector sounds the best to me

I disliked the name from the time it was announced and nothing changed.
I cannot even talk on game with my friends without feeling embarassed anymore cause the name sounds like some first person shooter trash.

I tried googling myself:
Page 1, 2 (and 4): CoD
Page 3 Beam of hope as it shows link to list of people streaming Warzone on Twitch. But its All CoD, I scrolled the page all the way down. The only other non-CoD result is some right wing army oriented blog.

This game appears on Page 5 as result number 48.

When searching for Risk online, the first result is Risk:Global Domination on Steam (with 3718 reviews). Warzone appears as 5th.

When I searched Warzone on google, it was 6th on the list, on the 1st page. The rest above it were CoD Warzone websites.

I joined in wl days but do agree that we need a change if it brings new blood in. Never actually Google it so couldn't say anything about that.

Who cares what Google turns up? Are we really relying on what comes first in Google searches for a game's prosperity?

If searching for a Risk-like game causes someone to see the first hit and go play CoD instead, they probably weren't going to be a long-term member anyhow.

And remind me which game has the www.warzone.com domain again?
