Players who are level 1 or 2 rarely have their flag displayed. I don't know the cause of that, but I'm gonna make a bold assumption and say that the most common flag on this site is no flag at all.

I have noticed that too, but that actually gives me another question, like, what happens if you play from a disputed area?
like, which flag displays if you play from Crimea, Kashmir, etc.?
even better, what happens if you play from a place that claims to be an independent country like Palestine, South Ossetia or similar places?

The flag is based on the location of your ip for the last few logins. There is still some unclarity whether that is for 2 logins, 10 logins or some other number.

If a player does not have a flag, they haven't logged into their account at least twice.

Well, if someone is visiting Vatican and logs into Warzone a few times during his tour of Vatican he might have Vatican's flag on his profile. But now I agree it might be unlikely since travelling is discouraged or forbidden.

I've met people from Burkina Faso, French Guiana (was in my clan for a short period of time), Madagascar (clanmates of mine who have since moved), the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Greenland.

I rarely see people from France. That is more because they surrender right away than anything though...
