Is it just me or some colors are very popular (orange, blue, red), while some are very uncommon (copper rose, dark magenta, teal)?

If it's not just me, why?

I think some colors are definitely more popular than others, but I see them all quite regularly. You also say orange is very popular but I hardly ever see another orange player. I do see a whole lot of green though.

I’m not sure why but there is probably some sort of explanation. Maybe that some colors have been around longer or that people generally like to play as more well known colors anyway (that last one is just what I see so it might not be true).

Saddle brown player w/ regular brown as an alternative on my main. Such a classy color. Of course my color is the same color of the suites and hats that I wear.

Maybe I have some sort of bias because the "games by color" list does not represent my impressions, for example I thought orange would be higher. Maybe I'm confusing it with red as it's the #1 color.

And I thought Dark Magenta would be lower as my color has only been stolen one or two times as far as I remember, and I don't remember it happened in any ladder. However it might have happened more often.
