Full standings based on all games posted in the forum so far are available at http://warlite.wikia.com/wiki/Nations_Cup_2012. If you see any mistakes or missing games for your team from rounds 1 and 2 please post the corrections here. Even from round 1 there are a couple of missing games or games that haven't started (including one 7v7 game, GB and Ireland 1 vs. France 2, unless I have the wrong link there.) Round 3 links and lineups can continue to go in the dedicated thread.

Can someone explain these tables to me? I can't make sense of them.

What does M, W & L stand for? Matches, wins and losses? What are the significance of each? How do they effect the standings? Teams seemed to be ranked based on points. Not wins or losses or matches.

What do the numbers under each game category mean? For eg. the first table on the page shows that under 3v3's Baltic has 3, Norway 2, Netherlands 0 and Poland 0. Zero what? Points? Based on games won? That can't be because 3v3's are worth three points each. Are they number of games won in that category? That can't be because then Baltic should have 9 points from 3v3 wins and another 6 points from 1v1 and 2v2 wins.

I can't make sense of it. Can someone make a key or clarify this stuff?

Thanks.

Teams are ranked by number of matches won followed by number of points earned. M = matches completed; W = match wins; L = match losses. 1v1 and 2v2 wins = 1 point; 3v3 wins = 2 points; 7v7 wins = 3 points.

maybe that's why switzerland haven't bothered with round 2 - they lost every game against the first team.

Netherlands & Flanders 1 has just won the 7v7 vs South America,
and we're 5-0 ahead against GB&Ireland 2, having won all 1v1s and 1 2v2, the other games are still ongoing.

Teams are ranked by number of matches won followed by number of points earned. M = matches completed; W = match wins; L = match losses. 1v1 and 2v2 wins = 1 point; 3v3 wins = 2 points; 7v7 wins = 3 points.

So do points not matter at all for the standings? All teams have been put in order of points on the tables.

If M = matches completed, how does Serbia have 2 wins but no matches completed? How are wins, losses and matches completed related? Why do virtually no teams have any matches completed but most at least one win or loss?

Once a team has scored seven points they've won the match even though it isn't over yet. Points will definitely matter for tiebreaks between teams with the same number of wins and for determining the two best third-placed teams, who will make it to the elimination round with all the first and second-place finishers. Points might also be used to determine the seeding for the elimination round, but dunga hasn't said how that's actually going to happen.
Thanks for the feedback guys, it's much appreciated. Veelvraat I need links to your round 2 games, both finished and ongoing.

Thanks Veelvraat, I missed them the first time. The 7v7 game link is wrong though.

Thanks, all updates done.
On a separate note, the only team to have officially withdrawn so far is China 1, who were assessed 3-10 forfeits in their two unplayed matches, which is why Group F seems to be ahead of everyone else. It looks like Switzerland and New Zealand won't be coming back either (in which case the same thing will happen to them) but I haven't heard anything official yet.
