OMG
The Paradox in name doesn't mean its a paradox
It's just a name

I swear to God, southerners think they know English

Nothing you said is even in context
1. Nobody talked about logical contradictions
2. Fermis Paradox is not a paradox
3. No fucking scientist is behooved that we haven't found aliens
4. I've never met a smart man from Kansas, therefore they don't exist

I met a guy from Kansas, at least he said

He's not the brightest, actually he was very doofy
He also had a subtle inbred appearance

And because that guy from Kansas was "very doofy", all guys from Kansas are not very intelligent.

That statement I made is basically the same as Fermi's Paradox

It's trying to come up with a conclusion when you don't have all the information in the first place, I thought you guys would figure it out

Just cause we haven't found intelligent life in space doesn't mean it doesn't exist
We haven't even explored all of space in the first place

Just cause I haven't met a smart man from Kansas it doesn't mean one doesn't exist
I haven't met every single man from Kansas, so I can't even come up with that conclusion in the first place

Listen here you Florida trash, my town was burned to the ground twice by Confederate hicks. Your "Southern" stereotyping is likewise appalling to me, and only strengthens my conviction of your poor grasp on the logic of this conversation. I was saying that a paradox is more or less an "apparent contradiction" rather than a real contradiction - I was essentially agreeing with you, but you were too obtuse and defensive to realize it. So I'll leave you to battle the strawmans and windmills that your wild imagination will construct from my words, leaving just these final words. Good day, sir!

Proves me correct about Kansas

Paradox is not the same as an "Apparent Contradiction"

A paradox = A statement that cannot be proven true or false, therefore we don't see it in the physical world
Example: Using statements and drawings that are only conceptual
"This statement is a lie"
Those drawings up stairs going up forever, that drawing of the triangle with weird angles

An Apparent Contradiction(Oxymoron) = It is something that can be seen in the physical world, but language makes it seem like a contradiction.
'Deafening Silence'
'Big shrimp'
'Only choice'
'Act natural'

BTW, I'm not from Florida, I was born and raised in California, and proud of it.
So suck on my avocados.

1. It's highly probable that there is sentient life elsewhere in the universe.

2. It's highly probable that we will not come in contact with said sentient life for centuries.

3. What if he doesn't like avocados?
