They wanted to eliminat alle Jewish people, black people but also all Polish, Gypsies, Serbs, Belarusians, Russians, Rusyns, Mulattos and more that where not seen as perfect. Millions Jewish people were to be exterminated in the Holocaust, just as Slavs in Generalplan Ost, also 1/5e of the polische population was killed.(The Polish people were systematically executed by the Nazis; 40 % of professors, 57% of lawyers, the majority of journalists, and 20% of the Catholic clergy. All were subjected to the most sadistic treatment by the Nazis.)

But the Nazi symbolism is not banned in USA, so they probably can not be banned for it.

There are other people and clans that make very rascist remarks. They actually make them themselves. They're horrid little people. They should be banned.

This clan has a picture of a swastika, or had anyway. They don't make threads or draw attention to themselves. Are you really that offended everytime you see a picture? Ignore it, move on. It's the internet. You're arguing that Nazi's are bad, nobody is arguing against you.

Anyways Europeans tend to get a little more defensive about that stuff. I guess they felt the sheer impact of WWII and aren't subject to racists hailing the NAZIs for their policies like we Americans hear about every blue moon. Not to mention they had some traitors among their ranks (Leon Degrelle for example.)

Again, do I need to get my point across again. If I put an American Flag on my icon, it is fine, but they killed millions of Native Americans when they moved Westward back when the USA was a young sovereign nation. That American Flag represents the deaths of innocent Native Americans' land surrendered to the Imperialist Americans. But that is fine. You think the Allied Powers all had clean hands? Every country in the WORLD has commited some form of corruptness or genocide. You might as well ban the American, PRC, USSR, UK, and ES flags.

All I posted was a icon of the Former National Flag of Germany. There is a freaking clan called the Wehrmacht which is literally the ARMED FORCES of NAZI GERMANY. It even has the logo, but that is fine and a National Flag isn't?

Okay, okay. Maybe my argument of T4R was invalid, but my general argument still stands. Do you think I play this game to secretly plan a genocide? No. This a war game, and you should expect things like this (especially role playing which I see in other clans) happening.

Not "praising" Nazism. You think I support the censorship of people and limiting freedoms? All I did was use the flag as my little icon on the internet. This is less harmless than a fly in your room which can actually do damage.

Every country has done this yes. But the Nazi state was devoted to it as an industrial process. The abhorrent nature of this is clear; nobody disagrees with it. You should have a little more tact though - other countries did it but not on such a scale. The repercussions of their reign apare still being felt in parts of Europe. You should have the courtesy to think of people's feelings here - not doing so marks you as a selfish dick. Just because it isn't banned doesn't mean it is right.

Ian7 has a very good point. Especially on the part of America. The reason that doesn't affect us to this day as much is because we almost succeeded completely. There isnt enough to be any bit outspoken or make a large impact like the jews. Nor was there any chance of saving them during their era. Who would step in? Our French allies? The busy British? Why not the Mexicans, oh wait, because they might be next...

The Nazi party was one of the most evil organizations the Earth has ever seen, there is no debate about that, I think the debate here is if the swastika is racist. Also, please don't use the free speech argument, where people have the right to do/say all sorts of things that you may find offensive, you also have the right to throw offense back at them.

Lol, as the owner of the original Nazi clan here, I'm gonna say that despite T4R's origins as being also surrounded in an interest for German (mainly 3rd Reich) history (I am currently studying history at A Level and it is my favourite subject), if you make a clan which symbolises Nazism in anyway, you will receive hate from the general forum. Even if you stress endlessly about how your clan isn't actually Nazi worshipping it doesn't make it go away. Do what T4R have done, after trying to argue it, we ended up ignoring it (side for Lawlz who kindly went out his way to defend us day in day out). I will say this though - your clan is associated with Nazism just like mine, don't deny that. But most of all, don't try and make yours look okay by dragging mine down.

We have kept away from the General Forums to avoid this kind of spite. Just deal with the fact that your clan is a Nazi clan.

However, I agree that this is a war game and people like to role play, there have been many wars but none really as concreted in our minds as the second world war, and perhaps people just see this as a potential means to understand the atrocious Nazis.
