In my first thread, I challenge the crowd to a game of wits. Can you follow my tried and true posting method to make a point and win the argument (even if nobody is arguing with you)?
The Game:
1- Comment on any thread on the forum.
2- Introduce your comment with the acronym ARS ("As Richard Sharpe," pronounced "arse").
3- Points are based on a 0-10 scale per post.
4- The more sharpesque you are, the more points you get.
5- A winner will be declared in one week.
Structure of Comment:
1- No more than three sentences.
2- No more than two lines.
Substance of Comment:
1- Comment on anything you find questionable, disagreeable, illogical or confusing.
2- The more you don't understand something, the more suitable a sharpesque comment truly is.

Unfortunately, you can't truly imitate me without being a member. Shame you are too much of a cheapskate to show the true dedication I would expect of such an acolyte.

^^ Notice the perfect structure of the first post. If he had written ARS, it'd be worth 8 points (not enough empty words, see below)!
More pointers:
Line 1: Introduce the subject of your comment (1-2 sentences).
Line 2: Conclude your main point (1-2 sentences).
The tricky part: Whichever line has 2 sentences must include your attack on the person.
Grammatical points to remember: Space fillers (empty words/phrases that add nothing to overall meaning) and outdated idioms are most sharpesque.
