My personnal favorites are techno/trance music (don't care who makes them). I find most of the modern music to be ok, although Party rock anthem and im sexy and i know are one of favorite songs. Apart from that, I like Dragonforce. Greatest rock band ever.

well i also like wagner. his flight of the valkeries (dont know how to spell that) is very good, im trying to learn it on piano.

i like organ music too, for example, toccata and fugue by bach (famous, though not my favourite) and also the great fugue

Never mind, most of the people I met who said they were Classical music lovers either used Beethoven's 5th or 9th symphony. Upon asking them who was their favorite classical composer,nthey proceeded to tell me some rock/ pop artist. You cna't blame me for being too suspicious.
Anyway, yes I do like Wagner, but Prokofiev, Bartok, Rimsky-Korsakov are my favorite lesser known composers ( mostly contemporary pianist composers.) my probably favorite composers are Beethoven, Shumann, Mendelssohn and Burgmuller, for their works, respectively, Snatina in G, Fantasy Dance, Venetian Boat Song and The Storm; All which I have played on the piano.

Since there seems to be a lot of talk on Classical- for my money I really enjoy Vivaldi the Four Seasons

im very much a novice on piano, i learn a few tunes on youtube now and again

i enjoy piano music from wim mertins (struggle for pleasure) and giovani allevi (cant remember name-its something like that)

ThePianoGuys are my favourite 'classical' people at the moment, though they arent really classical, they just use classical instruments

oh yeah, beethoven, i listen to him on youtube sometimes, he's pretty good. but my favourite bands are Skerlix and Rofl Lmao, and generic repetitive dance music.

Asong as its not the beatles or another 60's pop rock band, I don't mind other msuic, although some meal bands are fairly bad.

@BBBG Some of those bands i have not heard of, but the ones that I do, I like. Could you reccomend some that you find better than the others?

BBBG - I think most people would have heard of more than one of those bands. I'm pretty sure everyone has heard of either Coldplay or the Strokes. Some of them have topped the Billboard chart, and quite a few of them have had UK number 1 albums.

I mostly listen to punk rock. I listen to Green Day's early songs quite a bit, but I think their new songs are classified as alternative music now

Moros, He is indeed a good singer (for the dutch at least). Who are the other good dutch singers in your opinion?

I think Marco Borsato and Guus Meeuwis are also quite good. I like the songs of Gers Pardoel but is he a real singer?

Bob Marley and his sons music is incredible.
Bob Marley stuff is wonderful,
Damian Marley and Nas's album together was one of the best albums I have found as far as quality of all the songs.
Stephen is great.

Country(the one genre, remember Pop country isn't a genre it is a disease):
Johny cash, the American I - V albums are brilliant and amazing covers.
"Hurt" which is IMHO the best cover ever.

Hank Williams I and III
Most of it is fairly boring standard country tunes, but there are some awesome ones as well, for example "Dick in Dixie" a song about pop country

Kenny rogers, again for a few songs.

Dolly Parton
As with most country artist's I only like some of her stuff and the rest is far to boring.

Brilliant stuff,
He has evolved a lot since I was 6 and has went from Alternative country to a more pop country.
Still I respect him for the fact that it isn't all pop Country.
