The end of levels is far too slow. There's nothing to do but wait days to take a territory with hundreds of millions of armies.

I have fully maxed out all army camps and mines, purchased all relevant advancements, and I still have seemingly a week or so left to finish Old Town, about one day into the level. I have 42 trillion money and by selling Dysprosium ore I am making several trillion more per hour now; now I have literally nothing left to spend it on though. I used fog buster and can check there are no more army camps or mercenaries left on the map - there are a few more mines but I don't need more income, just more armies.

Maybe allow more upgrades of army camps? Would gladly spend my trillions of extra money on them if I could. Also with the latest update the drafts are less generous by about 10x, which definitely slowed me down.

Hey jss,

There's a bug in the version 5.02.0 that causes that problem. Sorry about that. I've fixed this in the latest version, 5.02.1, which is being released as we speak. It should be much more balanced in levels started after that version. Thanks for helping test the beta and sending me your feedback.

Just pitching in on this post (@fizzer i intend to send you an in-depth feedback when i hit stage 2 compiled from several sources) In many idle games, people like to keep it running in the background while doing other things, but one main element missing to truly grab idle players is actually not an idle aspect. People want to 'interact' more while seeing their empire expand, and although the recruitment draft is the right concept people often like to do 'sidequests' in idle games, a clicker aspect like draft is along those lines and so is the arena. As their empire expands the need for 'more' interactive elements increases. Examples for this are: decreased time between drafts for those who like to click/semi idle, a countdown to replay arena, or even elements like a bank where you can invest with a countdown timer would all provide a great incentive to hang around. (or in some cases, give something to do before people need to switch recipes in a smelter or crafter) I will be giving a more expansive feedback on other elements at a later point but for now these are my thoughts on this :)

(Short follow up) Also the perspective that emphasizes this is people stop really enjoying idle when they got all mines/caches and other things of interest and the whole map is already visible. The only thing left to do is clear up neutrals/blockades which only feels like a grind rather than fun idle to most.

thanks, Fizzer. I aborted and I'll try starting a new level, then; not sure if it's more profitable but it'll be more enjoyable hopefully.

I think end of the level is too boring. I need 60+ millions for upgrade something, i have no arena, I have nothing covered by fog.... but I need hundred of millions of soldiers to take everything.

there are 2 possible solutions imho :

1- players can't expand freely but only after completing the bonus they are into. this way most the ,map is cleared when you are left with a bunch of territory to take
2- extra features ( every day you can destroy a mine to take a territory ; pay X / wait for X and arena respawns ; a market with outrageous prices for mercenaries

K-PX i Have 180 millions of territory to take, with 1000 armies/sec it's still 44 hours before i can complete it. Of course I get the extra armies draft, still I'm stack with nothing to do / complete.

edit after 6 hours : even if Fizzer free cache and extra army draft I still need 110 million armies to complete bonus.
48 hours of nothing are a lot.
