Why would you make a thread for this? I don't like the Channel Islands map, do I need to make a thread for that too?
And what do you want to accomplish with this? Do you think Rashaz will see this and decide to cut off a thousand territories just because you say so? If you don't like a map, just don't play it! It's as simple as that.
It's not the size of the map that turns me off to it (though the size makes it far worse), it's the lack of balance and the reliance on meta-bonuses. Virginia too...
I can certainly see why some people enjoy it, though. I imagine that most of those people would happily jump to a better map that was similarly large, if/when they find it.
I'm a fan of big USA- It requires a different type of strategy than some of the smaller maps so I normally like to have a few going just to mix things up for me. The next best massive map I've found- IMO- is Big Poland, and it's really growing on me...
