As in, what do you consider "power plays" in Warzone, and how do you execute them?

There are a lot, I'll just go over some of my favorites:

1) Box your opponent in by blockading a chokepoint.

How to execute: Pretty self explanatory. Have a chokepoint where it's advantageous to cut your opponent off. Either because you're on both sides and they're only on one, or one side has decidedly better expansion options than the other.

2) Muscle through a blockade (or wasteland) to surprise threaten an opponent who thought they were safe with a large stack. I call this the spanish inquisition play because no one expects it (ok some people expect it).

How to execute: The key here is knowing which blockades/wastelands are worth muscling through. There's no one size fits all rule here. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes it's a waste of resources.

3) Hit into a bonus your opponent expected to take this turn

How to execute: Pick a counter with intel or flex your counting skills.

4) Demonstrate your death star is fully operational by dropping your full income on the line and smash into your opponent with overwhelming force.

How to execute: Have superior expansion and enough income that you can engage your opponent on one front while expanding elsewhere. This one is a bit of a cheat as you already won the game a while ago, now you're just showing your opponent that's the case.

Any answers are welcome. I just want your opinion.

when your opponent is overwhelming you, drop the fight, and deploy a ton of armies 1 or 2 territories behind, then surprise your opponent with a first order transfer and make his stack crush on yours.

It’s pretty rare that you get the chance to do this, but if you have a stack of armies behind the front lines and another stack is chasing you, you can airlift them backwards and then the stack that is chasing you is a long way off and you have stacks on the front lines to fight against only their income.

@Raven: No, not like that. I like an actual opinion on how to play a power play.
