The difference is purely in cosmetics. As the new version features clickable bonuses and doesn't exclude colourblind people, we'll be using the newer version of the map. If any bug or inconsistency is found on the new map, we'll revert to the old one.

Also, the old Africa map lacks a diamond on the border between Eastern Arc Mountains and Lake Victoria East. A lack of diamonds is not appreciated. ♦
