Perhaps this can be like the ladders. The creator (you) chose which map per season (Or after a certain amount of matches).

holder should choose, cos some people are a bit bored of the same strategic 1v1, and then if we use that then the people who top the normal ladders (HHH and others) will simply reign in two different types of ladder.
btw im in for the 1v1

i think it should be the same map every time. the holder can pick whatever map they specialise at and give them an unfair advantage.

i hear what you are saying Nike and i thought more people would have your view but i quite like the fact that the holder has a slight advantage.

The holder also has the disadvantage that we can see the previous games he/she has played. so the longer your hold the belt the harder it will become

this would be even more true if it was the same map every time

ah general, you can observe the moves of the best ladder players for 50 games, but you'l probably still lose against him.

so who has the belt now?

ok sure thats an extreme case but im sure if and average player observed a slightly better than average player in 50 games he would have a better chance of beating him than without viewing the games,dont you think? :)

in regards to who has the belt now this isnt actually the belt thread just a discusion about them. no belts have been won yet but keep your eyes pealed on the other proper game threads to find out who the holders are
