If 2 or more commanders attack the same territory and they are teammates with the orders of “Treat Teammate as enemy”, does the commanders merge or it gets someone killed

Which in turn means your commander might die if you were running from another and really need your commander to move off of that territory to avoid being attacked and losing your commander.

Btw, 2 commanders unable to exist on same territory makes logical sense, b/c the territory must belong to a single player, and it changes to their colour. So whoever gets the territory first takes it (territory becomes their colour), any transfers (armies) go to that player (get added to the sum of armies on the territory that is their colour), and commanders must stay behind, else you'd end up with 1 territory belonging to a single player (their colour) with 2 commanders. So instead of having 1 commander for each of 2 players, you'd have 1 player with 2 commanders (could have interesting ramifications), and 1 player with 0 commanders (you die), which obviously doesn't make sense (transferring to an ally should never result in eliminating you).
