I think it is wise to make a rule from any precident you establish, even if an edge case. It may happen again and the best thing to do is be consistent, unless you learn a good reason to change that rule.

Rule 287: If there is war and the government shuts down the internet you may hand over your account details to a friendly player of your choice.
If the internet is turned back on you have to immediately take back possession of your account and create a new password.

Rule 287a: If you are an outlaw you may not do this.

Rule 287b: If you are an outlaw but play in group B you may be exempt from rule 287a due to pity. Apply to the chair of the pity committee, krunx.

Rule 287c: If you are an outlaw but openly diss Platinum you may be exempt from rule 287a.

Remember to fill out form 37c in order to apply for rule 287. You find it on the Clan League discord channel named improvements.

Lol, no, if someone literally died and you somehow got proof of this to Farah, I'm sure an excemption would be made. Comparably someone gets a severe case of covid, I'm sure Farah wouldn't be a cunt and say no to them as well.

This is nothing more than an act of goodwill to someone in an impossible spot. Im sure this generosity would apply to anyone else that may need it. (And no, that doesn't include if you have the cold, or are studying for exams)

Just wanted to say I support Farah's decision. Alex's situation is obviously extreme and the complete transparency is a good thing.

I get the slippery slope arguments, but in general in life not just warzone people need to be less extreme in their thinking. There's room for case by case thinking.

In this case:

A) An unusual and extreme situation.

B) Alex being completely upfront and asking for the exemption ahead of time.

C) No real competitive advantage.

The midseason registration window starts in 3 days, on October 5th. During this period of 10 days, you can add or remove people to/from your roster, to make room for new players or subs.
