Anyway really guys what's happening to the commuunity?

I always hate people who say other people what they can write or what they cannot...

Of course everybody is absolutely free to write whatever they want but I really can't bear threads like "brownies" "cookies" and "the question is" any more.

I know that those things can be entertaining but at least continue only one of the three...

Infact I think that if one thread like that may be funny, three are just annoying...

It's just a suggestion; I don't want to act like the forum dictator but since warlight should be a game for smart people, what about talking of something more interesting?

Please don't take this thread as an insult but just as a way to improve ourselves as a nice community.

I participate in all three threads, and have not had a decrease in IQ. Now that school has started, I rarely have time for RT games, only multi-day. The only other way to stay connected to the community is through the forums, regardless if the threads are "dumb" or not. I am slightly insulted but not very surprised that you have brought this up. Then again, these are just our opinions and the only person who can do anything is Fizzer.

I agree with pink. The point of the forums is discussion between Warlight players. I don't consider any of those three threads 'discussion'.

How high can the IQ of a person be that considers "12 brownies, 45 cookies" staying connected with the community. If you lower it anymore you`d probably lose the ability to write.

If I can still type with proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation, as well as proper capitalization, I think I'm doing quite fine, thank you very much. I always type this way, even on the internet, a place dominated by lolololols, trolls, arguments, slang, and other atrocities.

Part of the problem I see is that there have not been any new threads for discussion about interesting, random topics for a couple of weeks. Most recent threads have been about clan recruitment, tournaments, and other large warlight events. People not involved with these events are getting restles. With nobody stepping up to start a new one, the community has started threads about brownies and cookies to waste time. We need a hero to solve this crisis. Someone save us!

I see no problem with it, but if you guys think something should change, talk to Fizzer about creating a new category of threads.

i actually agree with pink but i also have to say the question is thread is alittle fun you get some amusing sentences made. its fun to have alittle comedy. i dont quite understand the cookie or brownie thread but i dont mind them as long as people are having fun. if i didnt like them i just wouldnt read the..

Let me preface my plea noting that I am not against the freedom of speech, but would prefer to see it used intelligently and for merit.

I have noticed a downward spiral in the intelligence level in posts and in the creation of threads. These threads such as "cookies", "brownies" and "question". I worry that this is what the forum has developed into, I hope my fears will not remain merited.

I also have begun to notice the necromancy of deceased threads. My upbringing has instilled in me the thought that we should think fondly of the passed, know that we will see them again someday if we live a good life but that we should let them rest until that day comes, lets let these threads rest in peace.

Currently there are two groups which i shall call the fools led in particular by "Aggressive" and the others who post in the cookie/brownie thread who are complete and utter fools and the assess by Sharpe and perhaps as equally Zoso/whatever he decides to call himself these days. I worry that these two groups have made it so unpleasant for the commoner to speak they have decided to simply not do so.

So I write this plea in order to ask that these two groups begin to use a modicum of intelligence and pleasantry. It has become simply unpleasant looking at the forum these days, I hope the next time I look it is not overwhelmed by this jack assery and tom foolery.

What those three threads are, is "spam threads" most forums have them.
When I say spam, I don't mean their useless, I mean there cluttery(now a word).
So although they are entertaining, and their a sign that the community isn't just the same old players, they also clutter up the front page.
My personal suggestion would be to have a new sub-forum (spam/off-topic) these posts would not appear on the front page, OR, even better it could be another option in your settings.
But if Fizzer was to do something like that, do a forum overhaul while your at it, please?

Somethings on my list(many or all are on uservoice)
Off-topic sub-forum (default unlisted on front page)

Events sub-forum (things like Warlympics, clan battles, etc( default listed(so people can find out about them if there new)))

I understand that is risky, your giving power to someone other then yourself, which means it may or may not follow your vision.
You also I assume browse to keep an eye on your subjects, to see what people are thinking.
But if there was more off-topicy stuff, mods could be useful.
Anyways

But till there are changes made to the forums, threads like these I think should continue, just don't read them.

I in the end the thourom has no destictive purpose, its here for whatever you want. Remeber warlight is growing, so not all users will have the dilect required to post massive paragraphs on contriversle topics.

not that i participated any any of the threads mentioned but i think all forums should have threads like this as they can be fun. they just need to be in the right place

Stickys might be nice as well. And I do agree that the forum topics could be so much better than they have been recently. :/
