Looking back, I realized I've come a long way in this game. I'd like to dedicate this thread to that first experiment with multi-player Warlight, and invite others to share their own!

My first ever multi-player game was against a real-life friend, http://warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=4758891. All in all, I didn't do too badly, though I was attacking neutrals with 5s occasionally and I kind of forgot that Afghanistan was part of the
Middle Eastern bonus!

Very first game on my very first account. 3 years ago. One of the most entertaining and possibly the most dominating Eu 3v3 games i'v ever had

My actually first game I didn't really know what to do because we got to pick our own territories and I was just flat out confused. Did not even know who where my enemies at the beginning. My team had to point them out to me. :P

Some things I said in team chat.

-"we have a team?" ( Did not realize it was a team game)
-"how do you link?" ( Didn't know how to link territories)
-"do I get my own cards or is it team cards?"
-"how do I know when I have surrendered?"

Fortunately, I was in a team with very nice people. Helped me out a lot. :)

my teammates were actually very helpful and supportive

I had probably played 50 or so FFA's with 75% luck, multiattack and ridiculous card settings. I was not ready for the auto game world.

Soooo shity. After a few more games I started getting a few lucky wins and eventually a few hundred games later I became a decent player. I read a few forum threads discussing strategy and started using the history button. Those things helped alot but it was a rough start.

This wasn't truly my first game, but it was one of my more humiliating early games. The glittering gems of embarrassment just litter the public chat log to the point where I cringe even now when re-reading them. lol.
