Periods separate sentences, not commas. Commas have a space between them and the following word, not the preceding one. Capitals are used at the start of sentences, not the middle except for pronouns, eg. names, places, titles, etc. Tenses are important. Stay in one tense. Switching tenses unexpectedly or without reason confuses people and makes your message unclear.
