Hi, yes, this has happened to me once a day maybe, accidently taking a territory when looking around, change mind, accidents.
The double tap that was mentioned in another thread would work well, first tap you see all the details on it, second to take it. This would eliminate all the above issues and more for the most part.
Is this doable Fizzer? Or do you have other plans to help this out?
Thanks

lol. I totally agree with all this, but I think that the double-click to conquer would work best.

I agree, and suggest a new solution: When an unconquerable (dark gray) territory is clicked, a menu appears showing what it connects to, bonuses, items, etc. Why not have this menu show up every time a territory is clicked, and if the player has enough armies to conquer it, a "conquer" button appears? And this button is normally either not there or grayed out?
I found myself in a bit of an annoying situation yesterday when playing the first (non-tutorial) level, the one with the castle, the underground path, etc. That map has a territory called "castle entrance" or something like that, which isn't a part of any bonuses, between the courtyard, the path along the first tower, and the southern bridge. As the level played out, I ended up conquering all the territories surrounding that one, as it had 200k armies or so on it, and no items. Eventually I got to a point where all the possible territories had that amount of armies, so I waited 15-20 mins for my income to go up, and then was looking at a few different options to conquer, with 200-220k armies or so on each.
Here's the thing: I wasn't sure if maybe that territory was part of a superbonus or something, so I wanted to click on it to inspect the territory and see the bonuses it was a part of and... captured it, lost 200k armies, and only then was I able to check the territory and see that it wasn't part of any bonuses, so nothing gained at all- that could have been the last territory I conquered and I would have had a much higher income to do it with.
So I think maybe that's the solution to all of our misclicking and toddler-related problems: having the territory info pop up *every time* you click on a territory, and having a button for conquering the territory.

Or at least have that menu pop up if you right click on it.

Maybe this would work. A cancel last move button to click on in the pop-up Bar menu at bottom.
What do you think?

OK, to do that, it would take a lot of work, But a icon to click on to cancel the last order is doable. Why does one need to cancel more than one move?

I don't think that an "undo" option would work, because you can't "undo" the knowledge of what that territory connects to.
The point being, if there's an undo button, you can just click around, undo your move, and know what all the connecting territories have before you actually commit to a move, which I think kind of takes away from the fun of the game, which is that you don't know what's behind the territories, so there's a bit of risk involved (you could have an army camp connected to one territory that you can conquer, but another one is just connected to big stacks- if you could attack both and then undo it, wouldn't that change how you played?)
But I will insist that my solution is a good one. I mean, the only time that you don't get the info menu automatically popping up when you click a territory is when it's conquerable. I will add that in the 2 or 3 levels I've completed since my original post, I've done something similar in almost every game, trying to see what a territory connects to or what bonuses it's a part of before attacking, and then just capturing it.
I think just adding a "conquer" button to that menu solves all the problems, you can still get info about that territory, and the chance of you accidentally clicking conquering a territory and then accidentally clicking the "conquer" button is very small. It's adding in a 2-step verification to guard against misclicks.
Also from a design standpoint, the current info menu has 3 rectangular buttons: "Connection Arrows", "Connections List", and "Bonuses", and then there's this hole in the bottom right-hand corner that would be perfect for another button. A conquer button solves problems and also just makes the menu look better lol

Personally I think, you should always be able to click on any territory and read info about it without auto-conquer stuff. Just add a button "conquer territory" on a territory card, so that whenever you click on it, you don't automatically conquer it. Though, there should be an option "enable/disable auto-conquer on click" for those, who wants to continue playing the game same way as it is now.

Just bumping this because Id really like to see something happen. just to clarify, my vote is for the territory info screen to pop up, with a "capture now" button.
