In real life, some territory are more advantageous than others, like mountains and forests. This mod allows you to customize each territory kill and defense rate. You could extend this to increase/reduce the defense rate and kill rate on a territory depending on how many attack the territory and how many are defending (Like walls slowly breaking or more people build more mines and anti aircraft).

How would you show visually what territories are affected?
How would you select what territories to customize? [type the name, as in wincon mod is not great]

Those two questions don't really have a good answer, and making a mod that changes this seems silently don't sound like a good user experience to me.

Someone threw out the idea of a modified attack/defense kill ratios earlier ... and it kind of caught my interest, but TBest raises some good points that need to cleared up before this mod would truly be effective.

The previous idea was to have "some criteria" that would modify them dynamically throughout the game that would be defined my the mod, and visible by looking at the mod.

But sounds like you're saying actually assign these to the territories themselves ... so mountains perhaps are weak to attack from, but strong to defend? This would only make sense for maps that have mountains clearly drawn on them, and all other cases would end up having the issue TBest raised where it would be tedious to keep looking up which territories have which ratios.

Can you expand on some ideas you have to flesh out the use of it and how it could be well understood by the player's playing a game with this mod?

Idea 1: Assign a color to kill rate and another on defense rate on a territory (2 colors are used on all territories) the higher the defense/kill rate, the darker shade the color is.
Idea 2: When your going to attack a territory, show its kill and defense rate while doing the attack order. Could apply to multi attack as well

That would mean only custom maps actively targeting this mod would align.

Also can't show that info when observing a territory. The UI remains native WZ code, and the mod code only takes over once the moves are submitted and just interprets what's inputted, but has no ability to change how the UI interacts with players.

didnt know the code only takes place after turn, to mabye prevent fog from becoming useless. Although i do wish this mod becomes a reality in custom games

Can take place for other events as well. But yeah, for the purpose you asked for here, there is no good way to display it to the user.

I did briefly wonder if making something like 'joint strike' would be interesting. Where you get a bonus for flanking basically. It's the only way I can think of at the moment anyway
