if I have an alt account, may I enter tournaments such as these with it? I wouldn't use the two accounts in any way that might be considdered cheating. Only one would be in the same ladder at the same time and I wouldn't use them to team up together or anything. I'm more just looking for a new start and to be able to create tournaments and such with each.

The point of the tournament is for skilled players to be able to win a membership that couldn't otherwise afford it. You shouldn't join with an alt, as the goal is for the best non-member to win a membership for themselves.

Could a member win and gift it to a non member?

I think that falls under the same category of my question. I'd say that also defeats the point.

Some people who create free membership tourneys will specify that ANYONE can enter, and that winners can then do whatever they want with the membership, including gift it to someone. Others, however, seem to want non-members to win it for yourself. Which way is better? Who knows.

Side note, congrats to Chaos for getting his map onto the Season V ladder!

If you wanted to finish it fast then you had to make it single elimination, but why did you make it only 128 players...?
