Sorry, maps must be smaller than 2,000,000 bytes. This SVG is 2082024 bytes long. Most of the time this means the SVG objects contain more detail than is necessary. Try using Inkscape's Simplify feature (Path -> Simplify) on complex objects to reduce their detail, which will reduce their size. If you need more help, please post on the forum.
I don't think you could simplify more the territories...
Try to erase some of the background of the see, or erase the image if you have some.
Diplomacy maps like that usually can't be too bigger because too much bonus takes so much space.. I would try to make just territories and bonuses, forget about the background, then if you have space, try to make all you can... I don't know...
Interesting. There are maps with tousands of territories, and complex curved territories, yours are not too much and simple angular ones. Your background is simple too, not like Ra's painted backgrounds for example. It should be less size.
When a vector simply enough the simplify dont help anymore. You dont forget a picture behind the territories what helped you to draw the borders?
I completely agree with Urfang. There is no way the part of the map we can see has a file of that size. There has to be a picture somewhere (as they take up lots of bits and bytes), possibly hidden below the background.
Exactly. But you can delete it, and save the file as a different one, so you can keep the picture in the original one. Then you can alter the original file to add territories and stuff, but when you have to upload you save it as something different.
