If you boot someone who surrendered, the person should surrender.

first issue with your idea: the monit "i agree to continue taking my turns" would be a field of abuse,
second issue: what about games where you being replaced by AI depends on whether you surrender or get booted?

i agree the habit of booting surrendering players might be very unfair sometimes, but again - you should continue your orders until people accept and you agree on that by clicking "ok" in the aforementioned box.

In big ffas surrenders never get accepted... (for some reason people usually forget to make it auto-accept -.-)

blame it on the person that made surrenders have to be accepted. technically you are still playing until everyone accepts. kindof dirty, but not cheating.

Just as with most settings, having surrenders be accepted is a strategic decision. It can have a significant impact on the game and there is no right or wrong way for this setting as would seem to be advocated above.

I agree that being stuck awaiting a surrender acceptance is annoying and frustrating but it is a known possibility that you accept when joining a game. You have only yourself to blame for being booted while surrendered since it means you either didn't pay attention to the game settings or you completely ignored the message that comes with surrendering.

I agree there are reasons to have that setting. Especially in a team game. In a FFA I'd say it is pointless.

@chriscmu It is a settings GOD IN FFA making a player play on who is attacking your enemy stay on,trade info for accept,in ffa there are endless things to d with the person.

I shouldn't have said pointless, but I don't like that setting in FFA. Why make someone play that has given up when they have no teammate?

Shouldn't the person who forced them into submission be rewarded for eliminating a foe?

When I am in those games and it forces me to continue until everyone votes, I will just pile in one spot and commit. Why waste energy on a game I don't want to be in. If it is a team game, I will do my best to get my team a win, even if I think it is over. But not in FFA

if a person get booted after trying to surrender that person should be booted so his/her boot-percentage goes up so he/she has less chance on getting through my boot-filter.

chris i know a player forced another to continue so he can fight me he accepted that player's when he betrayed him like he did me now it is a 1v1 and am gonna make him pay for his tricks.
