Hey everyone,

I am making Warlight's first map of Austria. I have a few questions however.
1) Should I use the German names for states? Examples: Wien instead of Vienna, Niederösterreich instead of Lower Austria, etc.
2) How do you create a territories with a cut-out in it (exclaves)?
3) Should I include the micro state of Liechtenstein in the map?

I would greatly appreciate an answer for question 2 especially.

I think so. It would make it feel more authentic.

You select both and then use the difference feature.

HECK YEA!!!!!! Liechtenstein is never going to get it's own map (at least a good one) and plus, it's just awesome!!!!

If you are using inkscape, under the "path" drop-down menu, use the "difference" tool to make a space for exclaves. Before you do that though, be sure to make make a copy of the object with ctrl-d.

1) I would personally use the English names, but that's personal preference.

2) Can you word that question slightly better? I don't get what you're asking.

3) No, Lichtenstein is not part of Austria, it's a separate country. Only include it if you're going to call the map Austria and Lichtenstein.
