Also, there are some wild cards in there to help fill things up and to see if they spice things up. If you would like to play but don't consider yourself a top player, then post here to be considered as a wild card. Not many wild cards will be in future tourneys, so only the best applicants will get in.
Sure dreuj, I'm inviting you now into the real thing.
There is also another tourney exactly the same as the Masters, but IT IS ONLY PROMOTIONAL. Due to the number of players, it will probably start but it is not for the title.
I only need one more wild card-so if you are a good player (though not ladder topping standard), then apply here now.
Mylor, you don't know for sure that the ladder topper will win. There are other brilliant players who are not in the ladder, and there could be an upset.
I think that you are making a huge mistake by giving so few wildcards. This way you restrict the tournament into <almost> only members, and to be precise, those from the ladder top, in consequence - you delete the suprise factor.. in other words - there are many non-members which are great 1v1 players, but obviously are not in the ladder. I think the general idea is good, provided you will get enough response from the ladder top players, and invite enough top non-member players..
on the other side - i feel like way to much belts, bragging rights tourneys, challenge leagues, promotion/relegation ladders, and similar stuff is currently open.. it diminishes the prestige of any of the tournaments or leagues to be honest.. Why making another one? how is this one better from any of the previous? how is it better?
