Quick question: Why do people stop at 4 games even though it's been some time and others have also completed 4 games?!

The seasonal ladder gives 4 games at the kickoff and one game every 3 days after that. The rate at which you complete games is irrelevant.

What if you join late? I thought I set my settings to join Season VI, but for some reason I was not in when it started. I joined last night and haven't received a game.
