I'm the same as Max - a "gg mate" (almost) every time to be polite, and if I actually enjoyed the game and/or my opponent played well I will add a "wp"

I usually write a "GG!" after a game.
I mostly put it because I don't really like to have dry and silent chats in my games, and sometimes, I can even end up socialising a little bit after putting that "GG!"; if I really enjoyed the game, and found it pretty fun, I literally write that on the chat

I will write gg (and maybe a wp if its in order) if its not too long after the game is finished

its annoying to have old games reappear on your dashboard just cause someone sends gg in chat a week after its finished
