Hey Fizzer, I know you are busy, but the following shouldn't be too hard to implement:
I (along with probably many other players) often face beginners who don't know how to surrender. Thus, they will simply close the game, make us wait until the timer runs off, then get booted. This is bad for both players, as I have to wait, while the other gets an unnecessary boot. So, my suggestion is to make the surrender button more obvious to players, rather than having to click "players."
If you have time, consider my proposal, otherwise, disregard the above.

maybe a tutorial when you sign up would be better than having to change everything though
