I was aware I was losing and in the end my most desperate of moves saved the day :), although some better luck or smarter play on turn 5 would have done the job too

9v6 failed on turn 5, Pulsey still wins.

41% chance attacks should always win, right! His 6 armies defending really has to be Chuck Norris.

41% is pretty close to 50%. When you are talking about one single 9v6, the chances of it are more or less 50-50. So I would be lucky to get it, but I would also be unlucky not to hit it.
