When I first saw the settings and during the early games of Season VI, I looked for games where a strong player lost to a weaker player, and checked to see how many of those games had starting picks which favored the weaker player (not surprisingly, almost always).

That's actually not terribly interesting, in retrospect. After watching a number of games, I've determined a much more enjoyable set of games to look for, in which a player with bad starting picks (objectively, or simply worse than their opponent) wins the match.

I've actually only found two games so far where a player overcame their starting picks. The best I have seen so far is the game between Dunga and R+

Can you find a game where the starting positions were more uneven than this, yet the person with worse picks managed to win?

Feel free to post even if the starting picks are easier than this, as it's still much more interesting to find games where the underdog won.

I think this game between Ruthless Bastard and Doggy also qualifies, as well as just being a really interesting match based on picks.

i think DoB's game is better, because it is just funny that his bonus was 1 territory away from 3 different directions.

i have to admit i played quite badly in that game, but u should notice that the game given by the duek fo ben we r talkign about 2 top players.... if the purpose was to shwo how these settigns create assymetries taht example wasnt the best.... but obviously i wouldnt have been number 1 in the season if this was a season with better settings
