Thanks to widz for pointing this out to me. Unless OD is essential in the early game then save it for those messy endgames where youre all up in each others bonuses.

I usually don't use cards unless i have to many to commit my order. then i discard those which look ugly. I like looking at my hand seeing a single card of every kind or the whole hand of the same cards. But playing them? that's lame cheating. NC games FTW

I tend to save OD cards but I admit I've never put much thought into them. I just use them when an important move where they would be useful comes along. Does anyone regularly use two OD cards on the same turn?

The clever thing to do is to anticipate when your opponent plays the card - and adjust your moves in that particular turn to that. Often it is best to sit out a delay battle on turn 6 or 11 and then use the card when your opponent doesn't have any means to counter it. Especially useful when you want to kill off that one single territory your opponent is still having near you. Use your op one turn later (or generally when not expected) and that's a check. Using two delay or priority cards at the same time is another common strategy in crucial situations.

Think one of my recent games vs. Summer is one of the few games I've ever had an opponent drop 3 OD cards on the same turn. I used 2 that turn, and was rather disappointed to see even that wasn't enough to do anything.

don't teach me basic mechanics please, captain obvious - if it's the same number of delay moves, then it's first order luck <- that's basically what i meant
