Okay, what gives?
First, why do SO many people make their name a variation of "Hitler" ? -Are they just trolls? -Do they sympathize with his cause? -Do they truly believe in a master race? -Are they just randomly picking names out of the book entitled "Names to Never Name Your Children" ?
Second, why are people SO offended by this trollish behavior that they NEED to report players for having Hitler-ish names? -This is despite the explicit warning inside the report tool that says: "A player having the name of an offensive world leader is NOT a reportable offense. DO NOT REPORT THIS PLAYER, just Blacklist and Move On." (Side Note, I mean these quote marks to mean I paraphrased, I am not quoting.)
Seriously, Don't believe me? Click on Report, go to the pull-down, find "Player has name of offensive world leader" The response is "DON'T REPORT THIS" Yet, people still find the need to go back to the pull down, find some other reason to report, and then submit a report that says "This person has the name of an offensive world leader."
Third, How many times will I be reported because I made a forum thread with the name, "Hitler" ?

This difference in their world view that the killing of all non-Aryans ... and difference are not killed in the war or opposed them because they just killed people who were their own citizens for no reason regardless of battle just because they think they are inferior ... so if someone writes the Offline Hitler says he identifies whether race theory.

Yet, you're not getting at my questions.
Are the people calling themselves Hitler just trolls? That is my leading theory. I would like to think that no one really sympathizes with Hitler's views.
So, that goes to my next question. Given that the leading theory (Proposed by me) that these people are just trolls, why do people get so upset and proceed to report all the Hitlers in the world.
"Using a name of 'Hitler' or another world leader is not against WarLight's rules. Feel free to blacklist the player so you do not have to play with them, however you should not report them." This is EXACTLY what it says under the report pulldown of: They named themselves after a world leader I don't like.
Taking it one step further, Why do you think that Fizzer should be the moderator of all of the right and wrong world leaders? Like Taxi Driver said, what about other comparably bad world leaders? Or what if I renamed myself Obama? Would 66% of Americans that think that I'm doing a poor job be able to report me and get me banned? Or even worse, what if I called myself Cheney, and every single Iraqi thinks that I should be banned from Warlight because I championed an unjust war that left hundreds of thousands dead?
TLDR, if we put a red line in the spectrum of good to bad leaders, where does it go, and who places the world leaders on that line?
Is it too hard to respect that Fizzer isn't going to moderate that behavior? He's tasked each individual player to take some responsibility to blacklist and move on.

He's famous. Maybe the most famous guy ever. People are attracted to fame like flies to turds. And he was a turd as well, so I guess that makes his name doubly attractive. Maybe some users called Hitler are actually flies? Who knows.

My guess would be that many people make their name a variation of "Hitler" because they want to show they honor/respect/admire him. Hitler was a man who did fight for his beliefs till the end, and had a huge impact on the entire world while trying to atteaves his goals.

Sorry mate, he fought no one. He talked about fighting all day but never did any actual fighting. He refused to visit a single bombed german city until very late in the war, and all he ever did was talk and talk more about stuff that wasn't even happening.

"He talked about fighting all day but never did any actual fighting" Please stop talking bullshit pedrito. I didn't mean it literally, but even then you got it wrong. Adolf Hitler did fight: source: wikipedia At the outbreak of World War I, Hitler was living in Munich and volunteered to serve in the Bavarian Army as an Austrian citizen. Posted to the Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment 16 (1st Company of the List Regiment), he served as a dispatch runner on the Western Front in France and Belgium, spending nearly half his time well behind the front lines. He was present at the First Battle of Ypres, the Battle of the Somme, the Battle of Arras, and the Battle of Passchendaele, and was wounded at the Somme. He was decorated for bravery, receiving the Iron Cross, Second Class, in 1914. Recommended by Hugo Gutmann, he received the Iron Cross, First Class, on 4 August 1918, a decoration rarely awarded to one of Hitler's rank (Gefreiter). Hitler's post at regimental headquarters, providing frequent interactions with senior officers, may have helped him receive this decoration. Though his rewarded actions may have been courageous, they were probably not highly exceptional. He received the Black Wound Badge on 18 May 1918.
During his service at the headquarters, Hitler pursued his artwork, drawing cartoons and instructions for an army newspaper. During the Battle of the Somme in October 1916, he was wounded in the left thigh when a shell exploded in the dispatch runners' dugout. Hitler spent almost two months in hospital at Beelitz, returning to his regiment on 5 March 1917. On 15 October 1918, he was temporarily blinded in a mustard gas attack and was hospitalised in Pasewalk. While there, Hitler learnt of Germany's defeat, and—by his own account—on receiving this news, he suffered a second bout of blindness.

.... he nudged the nation into the powerhouse it is today. Actually, wrong again! Germany's economy was almost completely destroyed by the end of the second world war. It was heavy American/Allied investment in West Germany that brought the nation into its status of power and wealth that has lasted into current times. Hitler had nothing to do with it because a) almost all that he had created was destroyed by the end of 1945 and b) he was dead.

I can see where this is going. Hitler admirers have already more than proven to be fanatical and completely out of contact with reality... what the hell did I expect joining this thread anyways? Seriously, posting a Wikipedia article is not an argument, and even in the article is says clearly that he spent more time sucking up to his superiors and in hospital than fighting.
For the record: I'm german, parts of my family have died in the war, both in the concentration camps and as soldiers in the Wehrmacht. I'm proud of german military, scientifical and industrial achievements before, after and during the war. I'm not anti-german, and I'm not even any more anti-Hitler than the average person. I do recognize his talents as a public speaker. But admiring/honoring/respecting Hitler is something that only people do who either a) are fascist and racist pigs b) are young and easily impressed c) have no_fucking_clue about history and somehow think that Germany's performance during the war was because of Hitler's genius, and not in spite of his mismanagement and the extreme ruthlesness of the Nazi methods.
With this said, no disrespect to anyone, feel free to revere whoever you wish. Peace
