What is the point of the create rematch link in the emails you get when you win/lose?

If you click it, it will go to the create game dialog, but it doesn't add the same players that were in the game. I figured it would be a nice shortcut instead of adding them to your invite list, but it doesn't do that. I'm not sure it even has the same settings as the previous game.

If this functionality isn't possible, I suggest that link not even show up in the emails.
