I am 15. While i am far from the top i have some quality wins over players like HHH and dead piggy, i'm not saying in the least that i could maintain a winning record over them. Just that i can occasionally pull off a win already and i'm constantly developing my game.
i always assume that everyone on the internet is basically my age. i mean, i dont actively think about it, but thats just how i imagine everyone to be by default.
i suppose now that i do think about it, most of the great players are in their mid-20s, so maybe i will reach their levels at that time. but i would have thought that game experience (and that indefinable concept, intelligence) would be more relevant. as well as, obviously, working hard at improving, which i've never done.
What in first instance would define someone as being the "best" ??
Is it just the stats....his appliance of skill in the game or just the general approach to it as a game and sportly conduct to other members in this game ??
Personally I think people should just see it as a game and be happy with it like it is and not worry too much who is the best or who is not. I'm sure we have ladder systems for that and all, but frankly....to each their own
players like szewneningen, unknownsoldier, gui, hhh, myhand etc etc are generally thought of as being in the top tier of players. there's no real quantitative evidence, no definition, it's just an inferred consensus. the original post wonders if there is any teenager who would rank amongst them. not really competitive.
I will agree they're good at the game. Some of those are even fair players with an understanding attitude towards others. But look at it like songs...is there clearly a song which can be seen as the BEST song ?? The answer to that question varies from person to person. Although a lot of people like songs such as Stairway to Heaven, Child in Time, Hotel California and Bohemian Rapsody it's not clear which or if any of these is the BEST song. What is the best for one won't be the best for another.
Like A Rolling Stones according to Rolling Stone Mag, better to trust them!
To me one of this 2: Love minus zero/no limit, brain damage.
I'm writing this just to enlight how much no one is caring of the thread topic:D
Once upon a time you dressed so fine,
Threw the bums a dime in your prime, didn't you?
People'd call, say: Beware doll, you're bound to fall
You thought they were all kidding you.
You used to laugh about
Everybody that was hanging out.
Now you don't talk so loud,
Now you don't seem so proud,
About having to be scrounging your next meal.
How does it feel?
How does it feel?
To be without a home?
Like a complete unknown?
Like a rolling stone?
I'm going to make an 18 or under strategic 1V1 tournament, we'll see who wins.
