I've completely stopped using the client because of how annoying it is to constantly update WZ for a feature that, frankly, I find completely uncompelling. I'd like to start a petition to request Fizzer unlink WZ and WZIdle. Who's with me?

I think having it linked to both the same account is fine.

It should however be split up as much as possible. Take the achievements for example, they should be split up in both a WZ Classic and a WZ Idle section, each with their own % completed, and both have 15 unearned achievement.

Idle needs a new interface. Trying to jam all these features into the existing WZ interface just makes it a mess. Like the Cities Mod did. On maps with a lot of territories, the cities icon make the map unreadable.

I can see you're talking about the Standalone Client.

It sounds like what you really want is for the standalone client to auto-update. Ideally, it would just always update itself to the latest and never require you to manually update.

Even if they were separate apps, the normal app would still get updated just as often, as if you watch the patch notes closely you'll see there are changes that affect both games in nearly every update.

Auto-update would work, too. I prefer to use the client because of the vast improvements in all aspects of performance. it was just frustrating having to do it every day.
