Hello i am Retroslice i have been playing for a couple months in custom games against ai. I recently discovered new aspects of the game and new functions i had not used. I am still relatively meh in terms of playing but i have been reading a lot of tactics and strategy guides (M'hunters, Wiki, Etc) and have seen vast improvement from this little bit of research. I am looking for a clan to help mentor me and guide me through more things as a i grow. Big thanks to @Z @Liechensteiner @Kenghis Ghan for giving me the M'hunters guide, giving advice in game, and allowing me to immerse myself more into the "Warzone Experience". I have started to create a set of goals i wish to complete most notably being joining the MTL and defeating Rufus (who was told to me in global to be the current "best" although i was told the upper echelon of warzone is very competitive and there really is no "best" player as each map and template offers new scenarios that some are better then others. I would love to be able to grow so once i am level 60 and able to join the MTL i can have gained enough knowledge to adequately fight against this upper echelon of players. If you deem me unfit for your clan but still wish to give advice i would greatly appreciate anything you have to offer. Thank you for taking the time to read this.


Goals for me to complete
- Join MTL and defeat #1 player (wont happen for long time or maybe never)
-Increase my Quickmatch rating to the top 100 players.
-Increase my Quickmatch rating to the top 50 players.
-Increase my Quickmatch rating to the top 10 players.
-Become #1 on the MTL
- Learn new tips everyday.
-Create my own strategy guide for future Warzone players.

I know these goals are very outlandish, however in my eyes you wont accomplish anything if you set your sights low. I appreciate everyone taking the time to read this. I look forward to potentially joining one of you soon.

Thank you Kenghis Ghan and Kratt for your input. I would not necessarily consider myself a try-hard more Im just infatuated with numbers/statistics. It gets my blood pumping to analyze all the different approaches each map has in store and be able to precisely calculate which bonuses would be best, as well as how to expand most efficiently. I greatly enjoy chatting with others as well as i am a extroverted person, so i would enjoy a clan that can offer me both a "teacher" to help me grow as well as a community that i can banter with. I have enjoyed talking with the people i have met so far @Tainted Monk @Z @Liechensteiner @others as well. I am just looking for the best overall fit for me, and to be welcomed despite my lower level and incompetentcies in certain areas. Although this is seen as weakness i take it as a strength knowing that i always need to better myself and that settling will never be enough. Again i thank everyone for their time.

Maybe Statisticians is a good clan for you https://www.warzone.com/Clans/?ID=100. I don't know about the amount of mentors there, but statistic wise it might be a match

you only need to be level 56 to join the mtl

I like your objective thread title. Your name and level and your goal of the thread - finding a clan.

I've read quite a few guides about warzone tactics and strategies, but I miss a guide on how to write a WZ guide. I'm sure I wouldn't be the only WZ player who is looking for this.

I suggest trying to get into an elite clan and have them teach you how to play the best strategies.

One thing you might want to do is play more games against real players instead of playing against the AI - I found the best way to improve is to play against other players and you will pick up on the tricks they use against you (and learn when those tricks are not applicable as you will then try them and fail).
I think quickmatches are a good way to do this, especially as you can choose which templates you would like to develop on most and it is very quick at giving new games.
