Dekker hides a bonus change in Denmark, and does not state anything in title. It's a trap game.

Feel free to black list him, he is here: http://warlight.net/Profile?p=2329711122

"you have been reported, you must announce changes to income to the settings"

100% false.

It may be the polite thing to do but it is by no means required. It is up to the person joining the game to review the settings prior to joining. The onus is entirely upon you.

Check the game settings

Sometimes sneaky players will change a game setting and hope that their opponents don't notice, then try to take advantage of that setting change.
[edit] Overridden bonuses

Game creators can change the value of bonuses, and someone could set a bonus to be much bigger than it is usually worth. Then they attempt to capture that bonus at the start of the game, giving them an easy victory. In these games, be sure and check the settings yourself and deploy there yourself to prevent your opponents from capturing that bonus.

Rather sad that someone who has been around since beta doesn't understand the simple concept of checking settings before joining an open game...

In order for me not to blacklist, then you must not hide your settings. ANYONE else who does not like players hiding settings, they are free to blacklist as well. If the game creators want to block him for that, then it's up to them. I recommend it, but do not demand it. I'm warning anyone about this player. Surprised that you can't see the difference

Btw, it's usually psychological what I say in the chats to the opponent. I want him to vote to end. I ended up winning the game, though through dubious means.

Just a note... settings can never be hidden. Warlight doesn't allow for such an action.

Also, this is old news. There was already a post dedicated to his trickery (http://warlight.net/Forum/Thread?ThreadID=49737) though they were competent enough to detect it and defeat him.

I'm not sure what you are trying to get at Richard. This isn't new or cheating. Neither is booting to win. But most people frown upon it. Before this player continues to make this map, I want others to know about it. Yes, I could have seen it, but usually there is something in the title that makes me look at the settings. This was obvious deception and I fell for it. So, again, I don't know what you are trying to get at Richard Sharpe. If others want to blacklist this player they can, if they don't want to, then they don't have to. Feel free not to blacklist him. Oh, I get it, you are being a troll. In that case never mind

Another example of his cheating play. This one he didn't play it he lost to pooh thus proving the saying "cheaters never win".

I think it's just desperation to get a good record on his profile.

If you don't even open the settings tab when you join a game blame yourself instead of wasting Fizzer's time. It's not even tricky because bonuses values are indicated on the map and Denmark is a place you will likely pick very early.

Are you trying to convince them that you're an idiot?

If so, good job, you convinced most of us of that. Though I actually figured that out as soon as I saw you picked Denmark 9th, even unedited it was worth a #1 pick.

This is a forum post, blacklist him or not, that is your choice. Pretty simple.

Why do you care so much about a single game with a cheater when you have near 4k games under your belt?
Just cut your losses and move on, blacklist the guy if you want. But there's no need to whine about it.

I just found this post. Had no idea he was still crying about this. I have every right to create custom maps. If you are too lazy or stupid to check the settings at the start of the game, how is that my fault? I built the map like this for a reason. Everyone always plays this map the same way. Grab all the small Territories all over the map. With my version, the person owning Denmark has an army advantage, but the other player now knows exactly where the enemy is. It balances out, which is reflected in my win loss ratio.

I make no apologies other than for the slight giggle I got that this guy now needs to go on high blood pressure medication over a game.
