1.) Show games against good players.
2.) Your picks 2,3 make no sense as they are aimed as a combo but sa isn't prioritised over ca. I would pick SA, AA WR, CR, Indo, SEA

if you want me to play good players then i want you to invite me to a game if you consider yourself to be a good player (that was a general appeal and not directed towards patata)

I know, right? there was no one before me using that mask neither as a symbol nor avatar, anything really.. I very much like how not-cliche it is.

and seriously - both of you picked badly, your early pick order is flawed, then even if your 1st would be in SA and you would lose it, you;d end up with enemy in between your picks.. and you don't want that to happen. In addition to that - it was a horrible place for a triple-pick, and you could have accidentaly meet a playerr that would give you the FTB on purpose to overcome your income in mid-game. Then you would be alone with three picks in a rather poor place.

ravzwrocka horribly misplayed the whole game, and that's it. If you want to pick good in those games, take some time for an in-depth analysis of their ideas and you'll improve big time.

Hi,
in that game SA (Argentina) is very important, and must be the first pick. This because is central and is dominating the other territories (CA, AA).
Second, Antartica, and hope to take the ftb. Then Scandinavia, of course, and 4th CA (Cuba). So, if don't you have Antartica you can take SA in 2 turns. 5 and 6 less important, but maybe West Russia and East Africa (or Indonesia).

To sum up: 1. South America 2. Antartica 3. Scandinavia 4. Central America 5. West Russia 6. East Africa (or Indonesia).

This is obviously my personal idea, not necessary the best.

"Then Scandinavia, of course," Why? Assuming you split the ftb it means that you would have the chance to get 3,4 as a combo, so wr, cr makes sense so i wouldn't say scand is mandatory

thats what i actually wanted a real discussen between top players about starting positions for everybody to read i think we (not so pro yet players) can learn a great deal about staring positions by just reading the given ideas even better than with time consuming 1 on 1 coaching . (hoping for more qualified comments now) (and if you really cant let it go and tell me how bad of a player im am then go for it but dont forget the other more important part, which shoulod actually interest more people) (i think im gonna start uploading a game for discussion every other day now just till i feel that i have learned enough about picking ideas and the preferred answer technique so far is Adrianokxs )

My picks would be 1) South America 2)Central America 3) West Russia. The combo with South America and Central America will mean South America will be takeable in 2 turns taking you take 3x2. I would give the territory in S.America 3 = 7 to take 2 territorys 3x2 and the central American territory to take a territory in S.America adding 0 armies. With my last 2 Armies deployable I deploy them to West Russia. As The whole Scandiavia And Russia is probably the more stronger if you were to get them all. So if you get opponent in East Russia you are immediately in strong position because you will get S America in 2 turns giving a 4 income boost and Gives you power to kill any opponents in scandiavia and east Russia meaning more than likely you win the game. If you do this tactic and find no opponent around the areas you picked than when you meet him you will more than likely 1.5x stronger than him :)
Also would anyone care to invite to a 1v1 game :)
