are you kidding? genius? useless first pick in greenland without a followup in scand, then a unsafe combo, if your opponent is in scand you should expect to remain at 9 income whole game... boston is right.

if you get 1,2,3 and opponent ant+sa+scand you're doomed

my thoughts where that he would go for ftb in scand so i intercept it and get a combo bonus in russia .... if i dont get my picks in russia i will get either sa or antarktica to compensate for it

intercept it?? he will know your in greenland and wouldnt go for it early. combo in russia is useless, you would never complete west russia.

clustering-It the riskiest thing you can do in Warlight.

I would say that cluster picking (or triple picking) is a good idea in scenarios when you have a very powerful 4th pick. I have no idea why Boston surrendered - the game wasn't over at all.

arc, i dissagree. In general, triple picks are a bad idea. The most common triple pick moment for top players is for example theres a ftb in CA (with SA) and you triple pick west africa which (hopefuly) puts you 9v8 after first turn, and depending on your starting positions in north africa and some luck could put you up 12v(likely 11, the next turn)
