It's unfortunately common. Check history and pay attention to usernames on turn 1, is the best you can do.

It's against the rules (anyone remember Warflowvet's original account?). Fizzer was particularly harsh if I remember correctly, banning the account. He can only react to reports though - maybe a filter on the sign up/name change page to prevent that prefix being used?

I'm not a programming wizkid, but I can't believe it's that hard to program a line checking if the first few characters of the username are corresponding to "AI:(was " and then refuse the username.
Also, I'm not a SQL wizkid, but I can't believe it's that hard to query the usernames having "AI:(was*" in there name and change it to "INCORRECT*" or something.

Why is that banned?
