Yeah i figured it out long ago, its not that hard as the media tries to make you believe.
Insinuating its a too complex conflict to have easy solutions is part of the propaganda lie.

The conflict itself is not so complex if you study it IMO. But finding a solution is very complex. Israel won't give an inch, Hamas won't give and inch. No matter who is actually right, no compromise will be offered it seems.

Ok then, one attempt for a serious debate. How would it look like, your easy solution?

Arun, the conflict is complex in the sense that 60 years of Great-Power meddling have added ideological baggage unlike any other to the whole situation. Everyone and their mother feels like they have a stake in it; not just the people living in the state of Israel and the Palestinian mandates (plus of course the millions of Palestinians held hostage in utterly dismal refugee camps all around the Arab world).

EDIT: Of course the roots of this whole mess go back even farther - at least to the end of the Ottoman Empire - but the Cold War was/is what made/makes everyone go beserk.

We also need to remember that Israel has nuclear weapons, which means they're more likely to be right when it comes to international politics.

Gaza Is all about this poor people, Hamas who control them ...
Hamas does not want to take responsibility for all the time so he attacks Israel to show poor, to receive money and aid into Gaza.
For example ceasefire he wants to be built port and airport.

@elroi - Hamas may not be entirely right, but I don't see you reasoning. Hamas attack Israel to make themselves look weak? I don't think so. I think they attack Israel the combat the near total control Israel would otherwise have over them (like in the West Bank). They attack Israel to combat the alien invaders who have taken what they consider their land. I do agree that the most important factor are the regular people and the effect this is having on them.

That's a pretty good brief summary of the cause of this. How complicated was that? The situation is not as complicated as other situations, or at the very least, not more complicated. Often, you will consider a situation more complicated when it is portrayed in the media more. Because of this, you see much more about the scenario, obviously causing you to ponder it for longer. Also, when something is front page news it is discussed much more, with more support for both sides of a debate, making the issue seem less clear than it may be. When did people ever talk about the Sri Lankan civil war? As it came to it's bloody conclusion, one news channel in the UK featured it (kudos to Channel 4 in that respect), despite it being such an event.

So who attcked who first?

Besides israel been fighting with everyone sence israel was liberated from egypt when moses wolked the earth.

First off there is no such thing as a Palestinian ... If no evidence of cultural history are simply Arabs who came mostly during the British .... so basically really do not have a sovereign right .... So establishing the Indian state attacked the Arab states of Israel and calls for states evening came out about half a million Israeli Arabs, because they were promised a quick victory dated and need to be able to return to Palestinian fillets, who received the Civilization Mlah.ohgda left and Gaza were occupied by Egypt and Syria ... and this conflict Gaza began to shoot at settlements in Israel despite truce .. .. and all those who think that the Jewish people is not a "nation" has genetic studies proving the source of true Mediterranean ... not "pure" but there is not mingled with the other if a population.

I very very cautious wade in. "Hamas won't give and inch" seems to be untrue both literally and figuratively. I am not well versed in the subject and i dont have any sources to fling about but my very rudimentry understanding is that palestine wants to come to some kind of arrangement, and israel does not. I would be very grateful for a counter argument.

The Hamas constitution seeks to eliminate Israel according to Fox News, but obviously you can't take their word for it. I haven't heard that Palestinians want a peace treaty or other agreement; I'll look into it.

I think that they had an 18 month cease fire not so long ago? Maybe im making that up. Then 3 boys were kidnapped and killed by hamas and it all kicked off again.

Year truce was then abducted the boys .... and this war was about 4-stop calls but Hamas fired anyway ... eg IDF left Gaza and they kept shooting.
