Which is the better clan?
this was made purely as provocation and i hope for a good argument XD

Apex has some good players, but they only seemed likethe best due to their lack of recruiting (more prestigious). They have lost that image now, as they took on more players.

WM does better on the ladders, meaning it must have better skill. Its image isn't as prestigious as Apex though.

Overall I'd say WM are the 'better' clan, though Apex is also very good.

Well, I don't really know. I have only played a few from each clan, so I couldn't say. They are both at the top of the game though (clan wise), that is for sure.

Me feel so provocated! Apes or White Monkeys? Most Apes more like fight alone, no so good as most White Monkeys in 3v3. And this surprise Lion. Me always see jungle monkeys masterbate in tree and me think "oh, they must do same in game." But no! Apes like masterbate more in game and most monkeys prefer threesomes. What else separate Apes from White Monkeys? Apes bellow about luck in games: "Oh, me accumulating luck no good so you win. But we both know I so much better!" Apes love pound chest king konger style. When most White Monkeys communicate it largely screechy chitchat noise using Google translate to convey Monkish to English. But White Monkeys no harmful. Very friendly monkeys like Curious George. So real question should is "Who better, King Kong or Curious George?"

Equal match. But slightly WM

WM has more players so they do better in the ladder, but i would say the average of apex is better than the average of WM

Only played against 1 apex member, and 0 WM, but WM were interested in one of my friends joining their clan, so they clearly clearly have no standards...

(I'm joking by the way. Said friend is much better than me :P)

hmmm, interesting post, i would like to play a proper challenge against WM.

We could think and try to set a proper set of games.
1v1 and 3v3 for sure, but what else?
and how many players for 1v1?

And i would see us as underdogs, sze and piggy are playing really sharp, but i would think we have huge chances, even at 3v3.

@ Hellbender - That was hilarious. You seriously believe WM would be any different in your case?

@ Ryan - I wouldn't say Ladder is the only determinant - I would rather say average of apex might be higher at 1v1s, and while WM still has some 1v1 experts it is definitely superior in all teamgames..

@Arun - more prestigious? as far as prestige is concerned I think both apex and being a REAL wm member is the same prestige. Only difference WM has a couple of imposters while i am yet to see a player trying to appear as being an apex member. That might have skewed the general impression.

My personal opinion is that both clans are tied for being the best here, but they focus on different game types: apex focusses on 1v1s, while WM is an overall clan focussed more on teamgames than 1v1s (though we still got players like Szeweningen, Artham or Dead Piggy who certainly are some of the very best 1v1 specialists out there). BTW As far as i know neither of the two clans is involved much in ffas..

I agree with Fridge on his last paragraph. I personally think Apex would have a slight edge on 1v1's on average. There are a few guys in [WM] that are top players (Szeweningen, Dead piggy) but I think overall I would say Apex is better on average at 1v1. At team games, I think [WM] is probably a bit better on average. Not many good players play FFA's, and I don't know anybody in Apex or [WM] who does (although 1-2 might) so I can't judge that. I'd say overall if you look at the average player, its about equal. However apex has only 8 players, and [WM] has about 15-20 as far as I know. It's more of a question of whether you want to be in a big clan or a tightknit clan in that scenerio. There are advantages and disadvantages with each. I personally think just about any [WM] guys would be allowed into apex and I think the same is true about any apex guys being allowed to join [WM]. I also know that many guys have been turned down from [WM] and apex both, and as far as I know, neither clan has accepted someone the other has turned down, so I'd say they have relatively even standards.

Arun, [WM] has had great ladder success because there are only 1-2 apexes playing the ladder in the last month or so while there have been many more [WM] players. I don't think that is a fair representation. I truly don't think you know enough to judge the difference between a good player and a great player except by what you have heard people say which is not always accurate. I'd say leave this discussion to players who know much more about play than you do. I don't understand how adding more players would make a clan seem less prestigious but I don't think it really matters. I'd say they are equal prestige if you want to get down to it.

I also would love a challenge against [WM]. I think 2v2 should be incorporated as well, either with Guiroma 2v2 or Strategic 2v2 on Medium Earth, depending on what everyone else wants. I think it would be close and I think it would be fun for both clans, no matter which clan won.

I'd say there is little doubt these are the best two clans on Warlight in terms of skill and I think just about anyone would agree with me. As for the next best clans in terms of average skill, I think [WG] or Relite would be next after [WM] and Apex and I know neither's average players could match up to the average player in Apex or [WM].
