how often do these appear and how are their values determined ? I login to the game frequently and always seem to see an army icon blinking. do these work on a timer ? just looking to maximize what I can get from them. any help appreciated

As your army income rises, your drafts will increase as well.

As you get army caches and buy mercs, your drafts increase temporarily.

pink icons? mine have always been blue.

I think you get x armies if you wait 6 minutes, 1.95x armies if you wait 12 minutes, 2.90 armies if you wait 1, etc. The multipliers (1.95, 2.90) are not the real numbers but demonstrate of how it grows. generally your better clicking every 6 minutes, but you aren't missing alot of if you don't make it that often.
