I have made two (not very good)maps, and was wondering if anyone thought my third was good. I purposely left the bonuses on 0, because I think that whoever uses it should choose how powerful each bonus is.

The groups of 4 squares in the top and botton rows don't connect to anything. That limits any meaningful combat to the middle rows.

They do. Check again, Z-Dog, they're teleporters ;)

I really like it. Nice idea. Well done! :)

It looks fun. Especially for only your third map.

Unfortunately it's already been published, so I'm not sure how useful this still is...

Why not place the teleporters right next to the square they teleport to? Their actual "geographical" location is meaningless anyway; the only thing that matters is what connections exist. So, why not make the map easier to play by placing territories in locations which "make sense"?

I understand your idea for making people decide bonus values themselves, but remember, even if you do set values for bonuses, game creators can still change them! By not setting a default value, you force every single player to either assign bonuses each time they create a game, or for everyone to make a custom scenario for your map with bonus values. This seems very impractical...

I see what you mean, but I did not know what to make them. And as for the "teleporter idea", I wanted to be original, and I did not want to make it too easy. If you are refering to putting teleporter A and B (for example) next to each other, then I would say that some of the bonuses would be too easy to get to.

Forgot to read the first line of your post. Yeah, I agree with you. It has lost some use, but now it has a new use; promotion.

Finished making a second version that has a similar concept, but a different layout.
This time, I made the bonuses with a default number.

Its good but you should change the blue boxes that are territories to a lighter blue or different colour because they seem like they are highlighted too when you click a territory or bonus. Also i like the distribution modes really good map.
