Well it could work the same as the normall ladder. We have it set for a specific time zone, something in the middal. Then you join the ladder and instead of being the whole set games number you just have a join game button. That will put you in a real time game.
You could score it liek normall, winning gives you points, losing loses you points.
Exactly how most computer games ladders work. The problem is, you need something like a hundred people online at any one time to prevent a horrendous wait or mismatch.
Thts clearly a down sidwe that if there is no one else online then you wont be able to play. But warlights getting big enough now for this sort of thing to be avoidable to some exstent.
i get what you mean now. some games have that system. i guess it could be interesting to do that out of the auto-game for example. i probably wouldnt participate though, not liking the idea of more middle earth.
it could easily be done with CLOT. not sure if you wouldnt need dedicated hosting for that though. unknownsoldiers last realtime tournament exhausted google engine's daily database calls. i think this kind of thing might hit that limit aswell.
